Chabre Club is an FFVL-affiliated paragliding club in Laragne-Montéglin, Hautes-Alpes. Since 2024 it has organised and safety-directed international FAI Category 2 cross-country competitions from the Chabre ridge.
Where are Chabre Club competitions held?
At Laragne-Montéglin in the Hautes-Alpes, at the foot of the Chabre, a south-facing ridge in the southern French Alps known for reliable thermals and long cross-country into Provence. Camping de Montéglin is the basecamp and headquarters.
Which competitions does Chabre Club run in 2026?
Two FAI Category 2 cross-country competitions at Laragne-Montéglin: the Flymaster XC Challenge (18–24 July) and the Belgian B Paragliding Open (15–21 August). Both are open to international pilots.
